Back Door Donuts reopens

Fritter lovers rejoice! After a long, fritter-less off-season, Back Door Donuts will be reopening Friday night through Sunday, April 21. General manager Josh Biren told The Times he wanted to be open for school vacation week, with earlier times (6 pm-1 am) to accommodate families.

However, the front cafe will not be open in order to get ongoing renovations completed before being fully open for the season, which there is no firm date for, Biren said. “We’ll have a pretty fluid schedule from now until around Memorial Day,” he said.

So stay tuned for upcoming hours.
