    Muskoday Farm

There isn’t much to do at this 28 acre preserve other than watch the grass grow and be thankful you’re looking at open space and not at another pile of houses.  It was protected in 1986.

From the Landbank’s Page for the Preserve: A cooperative acquisition between the town of Edgartown and the land bank, this land was conserved because of its superior soils — which would have been wasted by mere suburban development.

Getting there: The preserve is a mile down the Herring Creek Road after the split with Katama Road.
