Menemsha Neck Preserve

From the Land Bank’s description: The wildlands at Menemsha Neck are low and salt-blasted. Their bleakness is endearing. Note that the property is inaccessible but for a long beach hike along the Menemsha Pond, which endears it in an entirely different way.

Getting there: Park at Lobsterville beach and walk up the beach 1.2 miles. (Read the parking signs carefully if you don’t have an Aquinnah sticker or take your bike across the Menemsha Bike Ferry from Menemsha village.)

For more information, visit the official Land Bank Website. Also, be sure to check out their cool map.
