Lobsterville Beach

Enjoy long walks on the beach?

Lobsterville is a calm, quiet spot with good shells, good fall fishing, and occasional sea glass. It’s a great beach for a long walk. In the 1960’s it very nearly became a giant condominium development, which lead to the formation of the Vineyard Conservation Society and one of the earliest large scale preservation efforts on the Island.

The Beach Expert Says:

Lobsterville is favored by families with little kiddies and fisherman types. Get there early — the coveted parking spots go fast — some for AQ residents and some for outsiders.
