Lighthouse Beach

Follow the (Edgartown) Light

Lighthouse Beach is the area surrounding, you guessed it, the lighthouse in Edgartown. You can park and walk from almost anywhere downtown, and take the path down to the beach from in front of the Harbor View Hotel. Not a great swimming beach, due to the currents (and boats) traveling around the harbor, but a great spot for a picnic.

The Beach Expert Says:

Lighthouse Beach is inhabited primarily by downtown EDG people and nearby hotel dwellers.  There is always lots of boat action to watch.
