Chappy Point Beach

Just a step off the Chappy Ferry

Just across the channel from Edgartown on the Chappy Ferry is a small beach owned by the Martha’s Vineyard Land Bank. This beach is on the Chappaquiddick side of Edgartown Harbor, adjacent to the Chappaquiddick ferry. There can be swift tidal currents and the beach quickly drops off into deep water. Owned and managed by the Martha’s Vineyard Land Bank Commission.

Getting there: Take the Chappy Ferry from Edgartown. Get off. You’re there.
