The M.V. Agricultural Society begins accepting submissions for its poster contest beginning Friday, Feb. 1, with a deadline of Monday, March 25. All mediums are welcome, however they must be entered as original artwork, sized 18 inches. by 24 inches. Submissions must either be mailed in or dropped off at the Ag Hall. No digital submissions will be accepted.
The judges will be looking for posters that capture the diverse aspects of the annual Agricultural Society Fair, including the tractor pull, skillet toss, hall exhibits, barn animals, oxen pull, horse pull, and other hallmarks of the fair.
The image must contain the fair dates and event name — 158th Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Society Fair, August 15 – 18, 2019.
The selected artwork will be presented as a poster, reproduced on the fair T shirt, and used on other fFair merchandise and materials.
