Let the Striped Bass and Bluefish Derby begin!

The 72nd annual Striped Bass and Bluefish Derby is underway with the opening bell ceremony held Sunday, September 10 in Edgartown.

Roy Langely rang the bell to get things going for the five-week tournament that includes prizes in many different categories.

Before getting started, Ed Jerome, president of the Derby, asked participants to remember the victims of hurricanes Irma and Harvey. You can reel in all the action on this year’s Derby at mvderby.com.
