The Charlotte Inn features gourmet wine dinners at the Terrace

The Terrace at the Charlotte Inn in Edgartown offers an intimate four-course dinner with one of New England’s top sommeliers as part of a new series of gourmet wine dinners on Thursday evenings. Each featured sommelier, in collaboration with Executive Chef Justin Melnick, will offer pairings of fine vintages and regionally sourced classic cuisine at the Charlotte Inn’s Green Room.

The first wine dinner kicks off on Thursday, July 6, with David Mitchell of Mise Wines. Mr. Mitchell studied European history and served in the U.S. Navy before entering the wine business, and he travels France and Italy in search of artisanal growers who farm organically and sustainably to produce outstanding handcrafted wines. July’s lineup also includes Lorenzo Savona of PortaVino, July 13, and Ciro Pirone, Italian wine director of Horizon Beverage Group, July 27.

Each gourmet wine dinner begins at 7:30 pm and is limited to 10 guests, at $150 per person, which includes wine; tax and gratuity are additional.

For those who can’t make the Thursday wine dinners, each guest sommelier will be available for wine list consultation at the next night’s à la carte dinner at the Terrace. For more information or to make a reservation, visit theterracemv.com or call 508-627-6227.
